Nine. The Heart Always Conquers The Mind.

The next morning she woke up to Blair's fussy cries. She went downstairs and changed her diaper. When Amaryllis got home from school Aria grounded her immediately.

"I am so SICK of all these pranks! " She told her, sending her to timeout.

Earlier that day Otis had came to her crying about getting his hair dyed blue by the shower. Poor kid.

Amaryllis secretly found it hilarious.

One night, she woke up in labor. She headed to the hospital to give birth since the twins were in the nursery.

And she gave birth to a beautiful baby boy..

However, as she gave her final push and brought baby Phoenix into the world the doctor's face turned grave. There was something terribly, terribly wrong.

He ran some tests and brought Phoenix back to her.

"You can take Phoenix home, Ms. Rapture. But I am afraid he will have to be kept in an incubator until he is a child. He has a dangerously low immunity and if he caught ANY kind of sickness he could die. Keep him away from others at all costs."

Aria was heartbroken, she was worried that all the stress she had endured this pregnancy was the cause...

She took the medical contraption home and placed it upstairs in her bedroom.
She was a nervous, distraught wreck the entirety of Phoenix's infancy.

She was terrified he would catch a sickness and she would lose him. No one went near him for fear of him catching a shy germ. Aria stayed with him 24/7.

Sparrow and Amaryllis helped out with the toddlers as much as possible so their mom could be with Phoenix.

He never got anything though. Much to Aria's relief he stayed healthy and happy right up to his birthday. Even though he would still need to be in an incubator crib, it was still good news!

Phoenix Rapture

Aria took Phoenix upstairs to bed and asked Sparrow to keep an eye on him. She had been invited to a party she knew she shouldn't go to.. but she desperately wanted to.

So she got all dressed up and off she went.

As soon as she crossed the threshold she ran up to Harry and kissed him.

"Wow, Aria. It's nice to see you too!" Harry smiled and touched her cheek.

She sighed. "Hey, H. I missed you." She moved closer to him.

"I can see that," He laughed.

"Why haven't you left town yet?" Aria asked, her heart beat going bonkers when he took her hand.

Harry looked away for a second. "Well, I mean, I did. I helped Danielle out with her challenge. But I came back."

He looked at her, suddenly serious. "For you."

Aria melted and hugged him tight.

She took a step back. Her heart ached in her chest.

"You really do care about me dont you?" She asked him, her eyes stinging.

"Of course I do." He smiled crookedly.

"I just.. It's not that simple." She started.

"I know, I know. Your challenge. I just feel like there's something else here."

"You do??" She asked, stunned. "I do too, I'm just.. not even close to finished yet. and I really, really like you Harry."

He put his arms around her and kissed her gently.

"I feel the same way,"

They stayed up together all night. Aria felt like she was making a huge mistake because this couldn't happen. Not yet. But she just couldn't help it.. There was something about him she just couldn't let go of.

And so.. well you know. They had a great night.

"What have I done?" She thought to herself as she was heading home. "I think I really like him.."

Aria went upstairs to check on Phoenix after the party. She kissed him and laid him down to sleep. His doctor said soon he would be able to be in a non-medical crib.

On her way downstairs to eat Aria threw up. she knew she had to be pregnant. And she was way more excited than usual. then she went upstairs and got Phoenix. It was time for the twins to age up and move out on their own and she wanted him to be a part of it.

On her way downstairs, her OB called. She was pregnant.

Blair, child.

London, child.

Sparrow.. YA

Amaryllis, YA.

Aria said goodbye to her girls, sad to see them go. But she knew they had a bright future ahead of them.

As she was slipping under her covers she thought about the beautiful being growing inside of her. And she was so thankful that it was Harry's baby.

"I cant wait to meet you, little one." She thought. Closing her eyes and drifting off to sleep.
